Agent accounts on forsale.bz add a public profile, listing tools, and the advertiser dashboard on top of everything a regular account can do. One guided setup connects all three automatically; favorites and saved lists remain unchanged.
Step 1 — Create an account
If you don't already have one, head to forsale.bz/sign-up and finish the standard sign-up. Use the email address you actually want associated with your agent profile — it's the same address we use for instant-claim and edit-public-profile matching.
Step 2 — Create your connected agent profile
Once you're signed in, your dashboard shows a yellow banner that says "Are you a real estate agent?". Click it.
- Open Dashboard → "Are you a real estate agent?" banner (or go directly to Dashboard Agent Setup).
- Add your name and professional email, then include as much of your photo, phone, brokerage, website, headline, bio, specialties, and service areas as you can.
- Click Create & Publish Agent Profile. The same save publishes your public page, creates and links your advertiser account, and enables listing-claim autofill.
What changes after conversion
You can edit your public profile, run ad campaigns, and claim listings. A progress banner stays on your dashboard until the recommended profile details are complete. Everything you already had keeps working untouched.
Step 3 — Existing directory profiles are linked safely
If we'd already imported you from a brokerage site (the directory at /agents), the system auto-links your account to that profile during setup. If there is no existing profile, one is published immediately. You'll see your photo and brokerage on the dashboard right away, and you can edit your public profile directly — see How to edit your public agent profile.
- We use your verified primary email for the initial identity match, then store a direct account-to-profile link. A later contact-email change will not disconnect your dashboard.
- If no existing directory profile matches, saving the setup form publishes a new one immediately—there is no manual approval queue.
