Manual Instruments What are Meteorological Instruments?Meteorological instruments are the equipment used to sample the state of the atmosphere at a given time. A meteorological station is a facility either on land or sea, with instrumemnts and equipment for measuring atmospheric conditions to provide information for weather forecasts and to study the weather and climate.
