
Computer Technician – Sacred Heart Junior College
The Computer Technician Program is a two-year program designed to equip students with technical skills in areas of PC troubleshooting, computer repair, and maintenance, and with coding skills using the current industry-wide established languages. Thus, students are well versed in hardware and software when they complete the program. Students are exposed to local and wide area network (LAN and WAN) troubleshooting, diagnosis, monitoring and the disassembling of computer hardware for rebuilding or upgrading. They are also instructed in C++, Java Script, HTML, CSS, and MySQL, including the development environments that are employed for editing and compiling code.
